PHOTONICS 2026 – Student Accommodation

Accommodation Details

Accommodation has been arranged at IITH Hostels for all students/postdocs participants at a nominal rate of ₹2000/person (inclusive of GST) for the conference duration (5 nights), on a two-sharing room basis.

Accommodation is provided at a nominal, subsidized price and must be booked for the full 5-night conference duration. Partial bookings or payments are not allowed. Even if you stay for fewer nights, the full 5-night conference package is applicable.

Additional stay cost ₹500/- per person/night. Due to delay in notification of Acceptance, Accommodation booking starts from November 01, 2026 and closes on November 30, 2026.

As the accommodation is on a sharing basis, if you are participating as a group or wish to stay in a room with your friend/colleague, you may propose a roommate. We will try to ensure that known people are staying together.

Please note, our Girls and Boys hostels are separate, so please keep in mind that you can only propose friend of the same Gender as your roommate.

The minimum fee of ₹2,000 is inclusive of GST and applies to stays of 1–5 nights. Each night beyond the fifth night adds ₹500. No separate GST has been added to the additional-night charges in this estimate.
